Ability changes: A whole new roster of Personas, listed over this way and he will no longer have Death itself sealed within him (so no more uncontrollable defender/coma-causer/spiritual parasite thing). Less powers-y, he will actually have an inventory full of stuff this time - restorative items, weapons, armor, I can sort out a more detailed list if you need.
History + personality changes: The most most major events that will be happening in his update areā¦. Kenās revenge plot and Shinjiroās subsequent death, the squadās supposed victory and Ikutsukiās betrayal, almost all of SEES getting upgraded Personas, Ryoji Mochizuki joining Minatoās class, the school trip to Kyoto, Chidoriās escape and death, the night Ryoji and Aigis and Minato all remember the whole truth of what happened on the bridge in 1999, Ryoji explaining Nyx and the Fall, and Minato now having to deal with the ākill me or die sufferingā choice Ryoji gave him. Personality-wise, heās crashed to rock bottom. Minato blames himself for everything thatās happened, and and his belief that he shouldāve died in the car crash ten years ago isnāt just survivorās guilt anymore. Heās in turmoil, dreading the future more than ever.
Heās also more attached to SEES and his other friends than ever. Bonding with other people has opened him up and made him care intensely about things again, but caring hurts and heās suffering a lot for it. People have died, the team has been betrayed, and now a very important friend wants him to kill him. He wonāt be as trusting as before - especially not of adults. There might be a little paranoia. There will definitely be a lot of anguish. Heāll be showing the side of him thatās a hardened soldier more than an ordinary high school student more, and his self-care habits are in the pit too. His core personality isnāt too different, but this will utterly wreck Minatoās self-worth and the progress heās made. Heās going to feel incredibly guilty over being happy, think Kurama, Goro, and Akira deserve way better than him for multiple reasons, etcā¦.and his issues with watching people die will get much worse. Because now heās watched even more people die.
But he'll also be hiding all of this under an unsettlingly good facade of being alright - āI'm Fineā intensifying. Even those closest to him will have to make some effort to get him to talk about what's happened. He'll also feel guilty for not talking to Minako and getting advance warning, even if he forgot everything anyway, because that's how badbrain goes. Especially since Igor gave him a solid reminder of his contract...
TL;DR same guy more trauma.

Back from Hiatus and Doing a Cannon Update

Current canon point: Right after Dantooine and the start of her top secret mission.
New canon point: Right after the revelation on the Leviathan and the subsequent capture of Bastila.
Ability changes: She has grown in her combat and Jedi skills. There are no new abilities.
History + personality changes: She is even more reserved having been rescued from a horrible fate, and because her love interest learned something about her that could ruin their relationship. [It does not, but she thinks it will.] She does have more faith in her companions abilities as their mission has progressed.

Back to the game timeline: After leaving Dantooine, Bastila's group goes to find the other Star Maps that lead to the Star Forge. Their first stop is Tatooine, where Bastila learns that what she thought she knew about her mother and father was not true. She thought her mother had basically forced her father to abandon her in order to chase riches hunting on various worlds. When they run into her mother on Tatooine, she learns that her mother was, and still is, terminally ill. Her father did what he did to try to keep her from their problems and to try to earn enough to save his wife.
The group then goes to Kashyyyk where they learn more about Zaalbar, their wookie companion. They find Jolee Bindo and allow him to join their quest. They travel to Manaan, where they do much to help/save the Selkath. They fight Sith soldiers and apprentices all along the way. Here on Manaan, they fight Darth Bandon, the primary apprentice to Darth Malak.
Right after the Manaan, their ship is captured by the Sith warship, the Leviathan. The group manages to escape their cells, but Darth Malak arrives. Before they fight, he reveals to the Padawan that he is Malak's former master, Darth Revan. Bastila explains that Darth Revan's memory was damaged during the battle when he was captured by the Jedi. She tells of how Malak turned on Revan while he was fighting the Jedi. She was one of these, and managed to save Darth Revan and give him a new identity. She convinced the Jedi Council to allow him to live and train him. This is obviously a lot for The Padawan to take in. Darth Malak laughs, enjoying the emotional upheaval he had caused. The Padawan, Bastila, and Carth all fight Darth Malak. Bastila sacrifices herself by blocking the door and holding Malak off long enough for The Padawan and Carth to escape.
When Bastila returns through the Rift, she has increased in her combat and Force abilities. For example, she has more experience with her lightsaber, Force Healing, and Force Push. Bastila is more reserved and quiet than before. This is because she has been rescued from whatever horrible fate Darth Malak had planned for her, and because she is afraid that The Padawan will never forgive her. She does have more faith in her companions abilities as they have helped her along the way, during the search for the Star Maps.

CRAU Update with CW for depression

Ability changes: N/A
History + personality changes: No changes to canon history, and there's not a ton of significant CRAU happenings with him (compared to most everyone else in the simulation). For the most part, this is just an update to what he knows from talking to those he did manage to interact with during his time there (a combination of handwave and me belatedly diving in to establish things).
Aiden quickly let depression get the better of him.
He avoided all meetings, frankly, only keeping updated on anything via talking with Yuuki Mishima (hereafter just Yuuki) whenever the teenager and he hung out together in a dorm room. Aiden didn't bother learning as much as he could have, but he did ask questions to try and avoid staying in total darkness.
Frankly, Yuuki was the closest to a friend he bothered keeping. The only other person he didn't actively avoid is Yoosung, but that was more about the latter's relationship with the former, than it was about Aiden caring a ton about Yoosung... or so he'll claim.
Some things he eventually figured out from doing his own experiments / paying attention / not bothering to eat or sleep for lengthy periods of time are:
- they remain the same as they were when they died (i.e. they'll never get taller, lose or gain weight, grow hair)
- they do not have any true physical needs like for oxygen, sleep, or food
The fact that they could still feel things, however, definitely made it so it did take active paying attention. Anyway...
Learning those things took even more of a toll on his emotional state, thus resulting in even less inclination to interact with the others. Why did anything matter, why bother, etc... It quickly became Aiden's darkest time and the very example of rock bottom for him. And, while he could have bonded with more of the others, his depressed state drew him into believing that being alone, being stuck in that state without a close friend, would also be more than he deserved.
So he even began to draw away from Yuuki.
Moving forward, they all learned about being able to data share and communicate with the living, but (as shocking as it is) Aiden was never interested. He didn't want to learn about anyone else's life and he damn sure wasn't going to share any of his own past. Also, communicating with the living? Pfft...
What he was interested in learning more about was being able to generate small items. He practiced this a lot on his own, mainly, to change clothes or create pencils and paper. Nothing fancy.
Then came the big explosion...
After everyone was ushered into a void, Aiden wound up moving into the area that Yuuki and Yoosung Dataed Up, and that's where he's been existing, ever since. He's been spending time with the Phantom Guild, but... nothing extremely special has gone on, since. He's learned about Earth holidays? Those are fascinating.
He's gotten fairly attached to Yuuki, much as he would hate to admit it... Though, the biggest thing he'd be taking from this update is the knowledge that all the living got out and are fighting. There are major penalties, too, for him spending over half a year plagued by extreme self-induced loneliness. This is much different from canon, for him. Back on Daeseon, he at least felt useful in some regard. For over half a year, he's been in this state on top of being stuck doing... basically nothing. Which is, in large, due to him staying so willfully separated from basically everyone.
